Balancing your METAL element

  • Marcassie Farm Lodges Forres, Scotland, IV36 2RH United Kingdom (map)

A Movement, Sound and Dialogue workshop to balance the element of metal with the intention of letting go.

The intention of this workshop is to bring awareness to your body and balance the METAL element within you. Having this clarity can help you tune your life according to the seasons and your natural environment. Working with the element of METAL (according to Traditional Chinese Medicine) and the Lung and Large Intestine organ pairing, we can deepen into the season of Autumn, preparing our bodies to rest more, allowing ourselves to acknowledge grief and sadness and giving permission to let go.

Opening with Meridian Stretches, Movement Meditation and Breath awareness to harness the element of METAL. Expansion for the lung energy and fresh energy and elimination for the large intestine. Moving onto conscious dialogue to give us our sense of quality and value, and the capacity to look at what lies beyond ourselves. Closing with a Therapeutic Sound session to receive, settle, ground and release.

Held by Charlotte Boyd, a Singer, Vocal Therapeutic Sound Practitioner, Embodiment facilitator and Macrobiotic Health Consultant. Charlotte has worked, attuned and trained with the five element theory, for over a decade and applied this to her life and practice.
